Reel NorthPrivacy Policy
This policy explains what Reel North (the "game") collects, why, and what you can do about it. The game is made by Chris Benoit, an independent developer in Prince Edward Island, Canada ("we", "us"). Questions: reelnorthgame@gmail.com.
The short version
- You don't sign up with an email or a password. The game creates an anonymous account for you.
- We store your game progress so it's safe if you change phones, and we collect gameplay statistics to make the game better.
- We don't sell your data. We don't show third-party ads in the current version.
- You can turn off usage statistics in Settings › Share Usage Data, and delete everything in Menu › Account › Delete account.
What we collect

We don't collect your name, email, contacts, photos, precise location or anything else outside the game.
Who we share it with
- Our game server. Your account, saves and gameplay statistics are stored on a server we run.
- GameAnalytics (gameanalytics.com) receives gameplay statistics and device information to give us charts. It may also receive a device or advertising identifier as allowed by your device settings. See the GameAnalytics privacy policy.
- Google Play handles purchases under Google's privacy policy.
- Anyone the law requires us to share with.
If we ever add an ad network or another service that receives your data, we'll update this page before it ships.
Your choices
- Stop usage statistics: Settings › Share Usage Data › off. Nothing more is sent, and unsent events are dropped.
- Delete your account and data: Menu › Account › Delete account, or see how to delete your account.
- Get a copy or correct your data: email reelnorthgame@gmail.com with your Player ID (Menu › Account).
How long we keep it
We keep your account, saves and statistics until you delete your account. Statistics held by GameAnalytics are kept under their retention rules and are not linked to your name.
Children
Reel North is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us data, email reelnorthgame@gmail.com and we'll delete it.
Security
Data travels to our server over the internet and is stored with access limited to the developer. No system is perfect, but we work to keep it safe.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top and, for big changes, tell you in the game.
